purpose of my web site is to provide answers to questions you might have
about psychological services, for yourself or others, and to help you better
evaluate your own needs in this regard. Additionally, I have provided many
links to various psychological topics and to other informative sites. As
a psychologist, one of my aims is to serve as an educational resource.
With WEB technology I can disseminate useful information widely, and in so doing help to demystify the field by increasing consumer awareness.

In each of the pages I have described my position on the various topics
or issues, from both a professional and a consumer's point of view.
I provide you with the best information available to me based on the research
literature in my field and my professional associations with those working
in the fields mentioned.
You will note from the listings of my services that I cover many different
aspects of personal and social adjustment. In part this reflects the range
of my own specialized training and experience, as well as my view, that
as a psychologist, I have been trained to be a problem-solver. I am committed
to using techniques that have been investigated empirically and that are
